As the world of student ministry continues to change and develop, so do your needs as you serve students. Among all the unknowns and challenges you may be facing, one thing is certain: Every youth ministry is on the verge of something great. This weekend has been created by youth pastors for part-time or volunteer youth pastors and volunteer leadership teams. Every session and workshop is designed with you in mind.
The On the Verge retreat will take place on May 1-2, 2009 at River of Life A/G in Cold Spring, MN. Our guest speaker is Scotty Gibbons, the director of Realife Student Ministries in Missouri. Scotty will encourage and inspire you in the main sessions and a host of ministers from Minnesota will equip you in each of the sixteen workshops. There is one track of workshops for the part-time or volunteer youth pastor and another track for volunteer leaders who serve under a youth pastor.
The cost of the retreat is deliberately minimal so you can maximize your potential! Join youth leaders from all over Minnesota to learn from one another through conversation, worship, ministry training, and interactive learning experiences.
